"We physicians are incredibly picky. We are perfectionists by nature. Anytime a fellow physician trusts me enough to refer one of his or her patients for care, I know that my care must be nothing short of excellent. To have my colleagues refer their family members or come for care themselves, there is no higher compliment. I am honored to receive TOP DOC designation again this year, mostly because it reflects a high level of trust and respect from my colleagues. The whole reason I wanted to become a doctor was to improve the quality of life for people.
